Most iPad screen repairs take 45 to 60 minutes and are done the same day, while you wait. Bring in a cracked, black or unresponsive iPad and you will usually walk out with it working.
Which repair you need depends on your model. On most iPads the glass, digitizer and LCD are fused into a single assembly, so a cracked screen means an iPad screen replacement of the whole unit. On some older models the layers are separate and we can change the glass alone for less. We confirm which applies to your iPad during the free diagnostic, before you commit to anything.
We handle every kind of iPad screen damage:
- Shattered or cracked glass - the most common iPad screen repair we do, and on most models a straightforward full-assembly replacement.
- Black or blank display - the iPad still charges and makes sound but shows nothing. Usually LCD failure, not a dead device.
- Flickering, colored lines or blotchy patches - impact damage to the display panel behind the glass.
- Ghost touch or dead zones - taps registering on their own, or an area that will not respond. That is the digitizer, the touch layer bonded to the display, and it is the same iPad touch screen repair either way.
- Screen lifting at one edge - usually a swelling battery pushing the display out, not a screen fault at all.
That last one matters. If your iPad screen is lifting away at the edge, stop using it and bring it in - a swollen battery will crack a perfectly good display, and catching it early turns an expensive screen replacement into a cheaper iPad battery replacement. We would rather tell you that than sell you a screen you do not need.

Will an iPad Screen Repair Break Face ID or Touch ID?
No - not when the repair is done properly. But the reason depends on which iPad you have, and one case genuinely needs care.
We fit original display parts, and every iPad screen replacement carries a 90-day warranty covering the screen, the workmanship and your biometrics.
iPad Pro (2018 and later) - Face ID. Face ID runs on the TrueDepth camera array, which sits in the housing above the display, entirely separate from the screen assembly. An iPad screen replacement never touches it. There is no risk here.
iPad Air (4th generation and later), iPad mini 6, iPad 10th generation - Touch ID in the top button. The sensor is built into the power button, not the display. Replacing the screen leaves it untouched.
iPad 9th generation and earlier, iPad mini 5 and earlier, older iPad Air - Touch ID in the home button. This is the one that matters. On these models the Touch ID button is bonded to the back of the display assembly and paired to your iPad's logic board. Your original button has to be carefully removed from the broken screen and transferred to the new one. Fit a different button and Touch ID stops working permanently - it cannot be re-paired.

If your iPad will not power on, we cannot confirm what is on it until the screen is replaced. If there turns out to be a deeper fault, we will tell you before going any further - and we can often recover data from iPads that appear completely dead.
